Terms & Conditions
1. About these terms
These terms apply to all services provided by Mrs Footsie, a financial education and mentoring practice founded and run by Aleksandra Krajewska, operating from the United Arab Emirates. By booking a session, purchasing a package or course, attending a workshop, or otherwise engaging my services, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you book, and in particular section 6, which sets out that payments are final. In these terms, "I", "me" and "my" refer to Mrs Footsie. "You" refers to the person booking or receiving the services.
2. What I offer
First 15-Min Chat. A short introductory conversation, free of charge, to understand your situation and establish whether working together makes sense. It is not a mentoring session and no advice or recommendations are given.
Mentoring packages. One-to-one financial mentoring delivered in packages of three or five sessions. Sessions last forty-five minutes and are held online via Google Meet unless otherwise agreed. All mentoring sessions are delivered personally by me.
Online courses. Self-paced financial education courses delivered digitally, consisting of video, written material and accompanying resources.
Workshops. Group financial education sessions, delivered in person or online, for private groups or corporate clients.
Corporate training. Financial education programmes designed and delivered for organisations.
Details of what each service includes, together with current prices, are set out at the time of booking.
3. The nature of my services
Mrs Footsie provides financial education and mentoring. I do not provide regulated financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice or accountancy services. Nothing I say, write or provide constitutes a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment, product or asset.
I am not licensed or authorised by any financial regulator to provide regulated financial advice, and I do not hold myself out as being so. I do not manage money, hold client funds, receive commission from any financial institution, or act as an intermediary in any transaction.
What I do is explain how things work, help you build structure and understanding, and support you in thinking through your own options. Every decision about your money remains entirely yours, and you should consult an appropriately licensed adviser in your own jurisdiction before acting on anything we discuss.
I make no guarantee about financial outcomes, investment returns, or the results you will achieve.
4. Booking and confirmation
Sessions are booked through my website or by arrangement with me or my team directly. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from me or from my booking system. Online courses are confirmed when access details are sent to you.
For online sessions you will receive a video meeting link. You are responsible for having a working internet connection and a suitable environment for a confidential conversation.
I reserve the right to decline a booking before payment is taken, where I consider that I am not the right person to help, where the request falls outside what I offer, or where regulated advice is what is actually needed.
5. Fees and payment
Prices are as shown at the time of booking and are quoted in the currency stated. Payment may be made by card through Stripe or by bank transfer. Bank details are provided on the invoice.
Mentoring packages and online courses are payable in full before access is given or the first session takes place, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Where payment is made by international bank transfer, any transfer charges, intermediary bank fees or currency conversion costs are your responsibility. The amount I receive must equal the agreed fee.
Workshops and corporate training are invoiced separately according to the terms agreed in advance for that engagement.
6. All payments are final
All payments for mentoring packages, online courses, workshops and corporate training are final. Once payment has been made, it is not refundable, in whole or in part, under any circumstances. This applies whether or not you go on to attend your sessions, complete your course, or use the materials provided.
This includes, without limitation: changing your mind after purchase, deciding the service is not what you expected, being unable to attend for personal, professional or health reasons, sessions expiring unused under section 8, and dissatisfaction with outcomes, given that I make no guarantee about results.
I set out clearly what each service involves before you commit, and the free First 15-Min Chat exists precisely so that you can ask questions and decide whether this is right for you. Please use it. If you are uncertain about anything, write to me before you pay rather than after.
Where a session cannot go ahead because of something on my side, the position is set out in sections 7 and 15: I will reschedule it or provide credit toward another service, but I do not issue refunds.
7. Cancelling or rescheduling a session
If you need to change a session. You may reschedule any session by giving me at least twenty-four hours' notice. Simply email me or use the link in your booking confirmation. Rescheduled sessions remain subject to the validity period in section 8.
Late changes. Where a session is cancelled or rescheduled with less than twenty-four hours' notice, or where you do not attend, the session is treated as delivered and counts against your package. I recognise that life occasionally makes this unavoidable, and I will use reasonable discretion in genuine emergencies.
If I need to change a session. If I have to reschedule, I will let you know as soon as possible and offer you an alternative time. If we cannot find a time that works within your validity period, I will extend that period so that the session is not lost.
8. Package validity
Sessions purchased as part of a mentoring package must be used within the following periods, running from the date of purchase:
-
Three-session package: four months.
-
Five-session package: six months.
Sessions not used within the applicable period expire and no refund or credit is given for them. These periods are a deliberate choice. Mentoring works when there is momentum, and a package spread too thinly tends to lose the thread between sessions.
If your circumstances change and you are at risk of not using your sessions in time, tell me before the deadline rather than after. I will do what I reasonably can to help, but I cannot reinstate sessions that have already expired.
9. Online courses
When you purchase an online course, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the course content for your own learning. Access is provided for the period stated at the time of purchase. Where no period is stated, access is provided for twelve months from the date of purchase.
You may not share your access credentials, download and distribute the materials, resell the course, or use its content to teach, train or advise others. Course materials remain my intellectual property under section 12.
I may update, improve or replace course content over time. Where a course is substantially revised, existing participants will normally receive the updated version at no additional cost, though I do not guarantee this.
As set out in section 6, course purchases are final and non-refundable. This applies from the moment access is provided, regardless of how much of the course you go on to complete.
10. Your responsibilities
For our work together to be useful, I rely on you to share information about your situation that is accurate and complete as far as you are able. I can only work with what you tell me. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and for verifying, with appropriately qualified professionals, anything you intend to act upon. This includes tax positions, legal questions, and the suitability of any financial product for your circumstances. You agree to treat our sessions with the same respect I extend to you, and to attend at the agreed time or give reasonable notice if you cannot.
11. Confidentiality
Everything you share with me is treated as strictly confidential, and the detail of how I handle this is set out in my Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Sessions are not recorded unless we have both agreed to it in advance.
12. My materials
Any worksheets, frameworks, templates, presentations, written summaries, course content or other materials I provide remain my intellectual property. They are given to you for your own personal use. You may not copy, distribute, publish, resell or use them for commercial purposes, and you may not share them with third parties or use them to deliver training or advice to others, without my written permission.
Articles and other content published on my website are also my intellectual property. You are welcome to share links to them.
13. Limitation of liability
I take my work seriously and I bring genuine expertise to it. What I cannot do is take responsibility for decisions that are ultimately yours. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any financial loss, lost profits, lost opportunity, tax liability, or other loss or damage arising from decisions you make, whether or not those decisions follow something we discussed.
Where liability cannot be excluded, my total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid me for the services in question. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Ending our work together
Either of us may end the engagement at any time by telling the other. Ending the engagement does not entitle you to a refund of any payment already made, and section 6 continues to apply. I may end an engagement immediately in the event of abusive, threatening or seriously disrespectful conduct, or where the terms in sections 9 and 12 concerning my materials are breached.
15. Circumstances beyond my control
I am not liable for failure to deliver services where this results from circumstances outside my reasonable control, including illness, technical failure, loss of internet or power, travel disruption, or government restrictions. In such cases I will reschedule the affected sessions, extend your validity period, or provide credit toward another of my services. No refund is given.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory laws of your own country.
17. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the date of your booking, and the date of the most recent update is shown at the top.
